Quotation Policy

We welcome phone, mail, fax or email requests for written quotations, from insurance companies and loss adjusters, corporations, businesses, government and semi-government bodies, councils, indigenous bodies and international agencies. We will be happy to supply written quotes to individuals for private use, if they mail, fax or email us a request with full details of contact and residential addresses.
If the quote is for insurance purposes, please understand we will NOT quote inflated prices. We will quote our normal competitive retail prices, because anything else may be considered fraudulent. We will NOT send written quotes to individuals who phone us. 

Return & Refund Policy

As a retailer we are not obliged to accept return of goods purchased at our store, because you have decided not, or some circumstance means you are unable, to keep them. Please make your choice with this in mind. You need to pay the freight or postage costs when returning goods to our store. This policy and the following notes are in line with Government guidelines. 

We can accept goods for return in the following circumstances, and then only if you have a valid receipt or other proof of purchase with this store.

  • The goods are materially defective. By definition, this is a fault in manufacture or defect in operation.
  • If discovery of the defect occurs within 30 days of purchase, we may offer a new item in exchange. The defect may require confirmation by our supplier, in which case an exchange may be delayed. Delays may also occur when we have to check or reverse, product registration, validation, locked or unlocked codes or activation codes for digital mapping or software. 
  • If discovery of the defect occurs after 30 days from purchase, we will have the item repaired or replaced. Please be aware that warranty exchanges may take from a few days, to a month or more, depending on the supplier, and stock availability.
  • The goods were not as described to you by the sales person. You will need to have a careful record to prove this, and you need to contact us within 10 days of purchase.
  • You were offered a return acceptance within a particular time frame, by the sales person at the time of purchase. You will need to have a careful record to prove this, and the goods must be complete with all packaging and accessories, and in as-new condition.
  • If we agree to accept goods for return, and the goods returned are not as supplied, or are not in as-new condition, we reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee. This will generally be 10% of the purchase price, and the percentage will increase proportionally, further from the date of purchase. At our prerogative, any refund agreed upon, may be in a form other than cash or credit/debit card reversal, for example cheque or bank transfer.

Shipping & Delivery

All Australian orders are sent via Australian Air Express (AAE), Couriers Please or Australia Post.

Delivery Details:

This is the shipping address for your order, to select an address previously added to your address book just click on the drop down button and make your selection.

To add a new address to your address book just click on the add address button and fill in the address details.

The first line is the name for that address, this will appear when selecting the shipping address from the drop down menu, examples: Work, Home, Mum&Dad's, Neighbours etc  This is the address that your order will be delivered to

Delivery Instructions:
Where possible use a work address for the shipping address as all deliveries will occur during business hours.

Special delivery instructions for your order:

most useful if you have selected Authority to Leave It is not possible to be contacted with a specific delivery time.
Note: Someone will need to be at the shipping address provided at all times during business hours after your order has been dispatched if you have not selected

Depending on the item(s) you purchase on www.ewharehouse.com.au the delivery, shipping times and costs will differ for each order. 

When placing your order please choose a suitable shipping address as our courier requires a signature upon delivery of all parcels unless Authority to Leave is selected. A work address (please include company name) or an address that someone will be at the whole day is best as th Couriers deliver during business hours only.

Any attempted delivery with no-one to sign will result in a card being left for you to contact the courier to either organize a new delivery or a pick up from their depot or local Australia Post Office

Authority to Leave
At the checkout page of the website you can give authority to leave if there will be no-one available to sign for the package. 

If you mark Authority to leave at the Checkout and give clear instructions of where to leave your parcel the courier will do their best to follow these instructions. If the courier deems the authority to leave as an unsafe area to leave the parcel they may leave a card and return the parcel to the depot.

*If authority to leave is selected and the parcel is left by the courier, we (eWharehouse) hold no responsibility if the parcel then goes missing from the shipping address once delivered as, selection of authority to leave is deemed as a signature of the recipient.

Bulky items you will be notified of shipping costs for your approval, these are calculated automatically by the site in accordance with our courier companies freight charges. Bulky items are those with either a high weight or large cubic volume, products are allocated as bulky as determined by the couriers.

All orders without authority to leave will require a signature upon delivery. 

PO Box Deliveries
Shipping to a PO box is possible, but items must fit within Australia Posts maximum parcel size, 105cm length and 140cm Girth. Anything outside these dimensions will be rejected by the Post Office and returned to eWharehouse.

Reasons for order delays

Incorrect address or address with no-one to sign for parcel.

Incorrect Credit Card information, please double check all details at time of order as you will only be charged once the order is ready to ship.

Personal detail confirmation for fraud prevention, sometimes we will require personal detail verification before dispatching orders to protect the card holder, this may delay shipping.

Occasionally if a particular product is in high demand we will need to re-order from our suppliers|

If your order will be delayed for any reason eWharehouse staff will contact you directly via phone and or email to advise of the delay.
